K-LADDER KLS-204 / KLB-204 – Height-Adjustable Platform Step Ladder

The K-LADDER KLS-204 (silver) and KLB-204 (black) are 4-step aluminium platform step ladders whose work platform can be set anywhere between 1.0 m and 1.6 m, so one ladder covers a range of task heights. They were developed under commission from the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA) as a safer alternative to conventional mobile ladders, on which loss of balance and tip-over are the most frequent causes of injury. Folded height is 1.7 m and the unit weighs about 30 kg.

Active Outrigger – patented one-touch stabilisation

The core technology of the K-LADDER is the Active Outrigger. With a single touch, each of the four outrigger legs drops independently to match the contour of the ground and locks automatically without folding back. This keeps every foot loaded even on sloped, uneven or stepped surfaces – exactly the condition under which ordinary ladders tip over. The operator does not need to shim, level or re-position the ladder by hand.

Guardrail-enclosed work platform

The worker stands on a full work platform (490 x 450 mm, with toe boards) surrounded by a guardrail and a mid guardrail, rather than balancing on a narrow rung. The guardrail height is adjustable: it is kept retracted for storage and transport, pulled up to waist height in use, or set lower where a ceiling would otherwise interfere. Rated load is 150 kg.

Multi-caster mobility

Casters let one worker push the ladder to the next position without lifting it: in transport mode the ladder sits about 15 mm clear of the floor. Pressing the caster levers seats the rubber feet firmly on the ground and lifts the wheels about 3 mm clear, so the ladder cannot roll while it is being climbed.

Safety and certification

EUNJIN INDUSTRIAL is certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 for the manufacture of industrial safety goods (safety ladders). Within the K-LADDER range, the K-204, K-205 and K-206 types have been assessed by TÜV Rheinland LGA Products GmbH against EN 131-7:2013 (Certificate of Conformity, Reg. No. AK 50707982 0001), and the KL-105 and KL-205 types hold Korean S-Mark safety certification issued by the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA, Cert.
