The AD12-2TC operates on DC12V (2A), while the AD24-2TC operates on DC24V (2A). Both models use a forward/reverse DC control system with a simple 2-wire connection, allowing easy installation and reduced wiring complexity.
Max. Output Torque: 200 kgf·cm
Operating Time (90°, No-load):
AD12-2TC: approx. 15 seconds
AD24-2TC: approx. 10 seconds
Mechanical Life: Approx. 40,000 cycles (depending on usage conditions)
Weight: Approx. 950 g
Standby Power Consumption: Approx. 0.5W
The actuator closes clockwise and opens counter-clockwise (top view orientation).
The actuator is compatible with:
Ball Valves: 32A, 40A, 50A
Butterfly Valve: 50A wafer type
Ball Valve
Operating Temperature: 0°C to 120°C
Application Fluid: Non-corrosive liquids and gases
Butterfly Valve
Operating Temperature: 0°C to 90°C
Application Fluid: Non-corrosive water and liquids
Maximum Operating Pressure: 10 kgf/cm² (142 PSI)
The actuator uses a 2-wire DC power connection:
Red (+), Black (–) for Close
Reverse polarity for Open
In case of power loss, the actuator defaults to the Close position, enhancing operational safety.
When powered on for the first time after installation or after a long idle period, the actuator requires approximately 3 minutes of charging before normal operation. After opening, wait at least 2 minutes before performing a closing operation to ensure stable performance and extend service life.
The actuator is equipped with both a display window and an indicator lamp for clear status confirmation:
When Open: A circle (○) appears and the green lamp is ON
When Closed: A cross (×) appears and the lamp is OFF
This dual-indication system ensures easy visual monitoring in industrial environments.
For emergency situations or maintenance, the actuator includes a manual lever. By pulling the lever upward and rotating the actuator body, the valve can be manually operated.
Note:
During manual operation, the display window and indicator lamp do not change status.
After manual operation, the fixing pin must be returned to its original position.
Install the actuator vertically onto a valve already fixed in the piping line.
Ensure correct wiring according to the connection diagram.
Install a switch or disconnecting device for emergency power-off.
Use an overcurrent protection device to protect the circuit.
The actuator is designed for indoor use without condensation.
Operating Environment: -15°C to 50°C (35–85% RH)
The actuator must not be submerged in water. Exposure to water may cause malfunction or electric shock. Storage and transportation temperature range: -25°C to 55°C.
